Workshop Coordinator

About the Role

Liebherr Mobile Cranes division is seeking a motivated Workshop Coordinator to join our team in our Brisbane branch based in Yatala. You will be working as part of a supportive team and experienced team to provide robust and effective coordination of the Service team within the Workshop that enables the team to deliver; safe, efficient and compliant support to the division team and its customers. This role is also the point of contact for customers and technicians within the operational area and coordinates service and new crane deliveries the workshop.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Act as point-of-call with customers
- Efficiently schedule service work including modifications and warranty and allocate resources, including technicians, spare parts, tools, and equipment, based on priority and availability.
- Manage Work In Progress (WIP) report inc. close-out of jobs ensuring correct allocation of labour and costs
- Guidance and direction to service team members
- Provide reports on all activities of the departments operations when required
- Ensuring work is completed safely and in compliance with HSE requirements

**About you**:

- Recognised Trade Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Field
- Certificate III in Business Administration (desirable)
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Strong MS Word and Excel skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and complete to high standard
- Initiative and self-drive
- Problem solving skills
