Over the last 30 years we have grown to offer a wide range of specialised services, with more than 25 depots across Australia, we are ideally positioned to provide exceptional vehicle transport services to both individuals and OEM customers.

We have an opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to efficiently manage the direct day-to-day operational activities of our Vehicle Processing Centre, requiring very strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and implement successful management strategies. This role will lay out the who, what, when and how of our daily operations - defining how our labour, facilities and financial resources will be allocated to achieve our short and long term goals.

**Some of your key responsibilities will include**:

- Consolidate and methodically analysing output requirements and organising the “who, what, when and how of our daily operations” required to effectively meet our production services;
- Liaise and interface with clients and Client Liaison Officers to ensure timely vehicle processing;
- Arrange and maintain training requirements as well as maintaining training records and skill matrix;
- Coordinating the review of measuring equipment calibration records and arranging for re-testing/calibration as required;
- Supervise the operation of the parts store to ensure adequate stock levels and quarantine of defective parts;
- Ensure Prixcar’s Quality System and total quality management is implemented and understood for all aspects of service, workmanship, procedures, work instructions and conformance to company standards;
- Promote a continuously improving service culture within the branch and implement quality principles;
- Perform or assist with quality audits and implement any corrective actions where necessary;
- Promoting and ensuring a safe and heathy working environment.

**Who are we looking for**:

- You are a proven conscientious operational leader;
- You are a hands on operator who can make decisions on the run and multi task;
- You are willing to get your hands dirty and take responsibility to get things done;
- You have a sense of urgency, purpose and solutions orientated;
- You take ownership over issues, can operate independently and sees things through to conclusion;
- You are passionate and care for what you do;
- Prior experience in the auto industry an advantage;
- Mechanical/ electrical aptitude an advantage;
- Excellent computer skills and a quick learner.
