As the Executive Leader for Connections and Liveability, you will join the City of Launceston’s Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and play a key role in delivering the organisation’s strategic vision. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will oversee critical areas including stakeholder experience, open spaces and sustainability, liveable communities, and community connections. With a focus on strategic leadership, you’ll ensure that Launceston continues to thrive as a liveable, sustainable, and community-focused city.

We are seeking a strategic leader with a collaborative approach and experience in delivering outcomes in customer or community-focused services. A background in environmental sustainability, placemaking, or complex project delivery will be highly regarded. You will need strong communication skills, the ability to manage resources effectively, and a genuine commitment to engaging with the community.
