**Your new company**
Hays Office Support are currently seeking an APS5 Project Officer for a Federal Government agency, that support Aged Care and quality of living. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the planning, delivery, and evaluation of a new project, whilst making a difference to the broader community. The role will require full-time hours, be office-based, and be offered as a 6-month non-ongoing contract.
**Your new role**
Based in the Hobart CBD, our client is an agency that focuses on providing older Australians with the support needed to live a quality life. As the Project Officer, you will be responsible for producing written documents including reports, business cases and verbal presentations for staff and senior managers. You will work within an Integrity Framework, support state-wide project delivery, governance, and provide critical support to a divisional network across the state.
If you are interested in supporting the broader community, and have experience in project management, then this is the position for you
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be the successful applicant you'll have demonstrated experience working in a project management role. In addition, you will be able to;
- Undertake work that is moderately complex in nature
- Follow direction provided by more senior officers, and communicate it to others
- Manage your workflow autonomously and make decisions based on defined legislative parameters
- Support planning and administration for medium to large scale projects
- Monitor task progress and conduct quality assurance activities to ensure delivery of projects
- Understand business analysis techniques
