**Thirteen Marine **provides services to dry bulk vessel operators in the fields of general chartering and operational services in Australia and the Pacific Rim.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day chartering function of a Dry Bulk ship operator

**Responsibilities**
- Sourcing cargo/employment for the fleet of bulk carriers
- Liaise with brokers, charterers, port agents etc. to ensure all shipments run smoothly
- Cargo calculation running
- Handling and settlement of any issues, or disputes related to chartering vessels/cargo
- Relationship management
- Middle office management

**Qualifications / Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or at least five years of relevant, industry, experience in lieu of a formal qualification
- Applicants who have both Dry bulk Operations and Dry bulk Chartering exposure are highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills & negotiating skills
- Ability to travel both interstate and Internationally
- Experience dealing with bulk commodities
- Have an understanding of the Global shipping market
- Establish, maintain and manage internal and external relationships with key parties in the supply chain
- Strong negotiation skills and business acumen
- Ability to speak and understand Danish is not required but is highly desirable
- Successful applicants will be expected to spend an initial period of approx. 4 weeks in Copenhagen then 2-3 weeks periodically at managements discretion

**On offer**

You will be paid an attractive salary package commensurate with your experience and expertise.
