**Location**: ASHGROVE 4060

I’m seeking an empathetic, caring, calm-natured, reliable soul to be the final puzzle piece in my close-knit team of support workers. I am a 43 yr old NDIS participant with a neurodegenerative disability requiring support to live independently in my home. I foster a friendly workplace where you will be valued and can make a real, positive difference. This position would particularly suit a student or someone with adult children. No previous support work experience is necessary (full training provided). The position is casual, but with a regular roster. Pay rate starts from $48/hr. Immediate start. **FEMALE INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS ONLY PLEASE.**

You will be assisting with:

- personal care
- domestic support
- meal prep
- therapy assistance
- pet care
- admin tasks
- transport/community access (in support worker's vehicle - mileage paid)
- **female**
- **be located within 15-20 min of St John’s Wood**
- have own reliable vehicle & clear driver's licence
- have Disability Worker Screening clearance, current senior First Aid & CPR, relevant insurances
- be a non-smoker
- be able to commit to a minimum 12 months
- have flexible availability - we are seeking to fill shifts across all 7 days of the week including **sleepover (mandatory),** weekday daytime, weekday evening, and weekend
- like cats (and not be allergic)

Your time is valuable and so is mine. Being keen is great, however my disabilities are complex and I have limited capacity to engage in a string of messages justifying my support needs, so I would be grateful if you could please respect that the mandatory criteria listed are non-negotiable (they relate directly to my safety and disability support needs, which cannot be compromised.) Additionally, most supports are in-home to assist with my ADLs - this position is not suited to someone who is only interested in being out and about for fun activities.
