**$61.67 + super per hour**:

- Great opportunity for a part-time Communications Advisor within a NSW government department._

**The Role**
- Support the implementation of a range of communication activities that align with the goals of the department
- Draft, edit and publish content across internal communications channels, ensuring it is consistent with the overall content strategy, style, tone of voice and best practice communication.
- Develop a sound understanding of stakeholder needs and establish and maintain productive working relationships with them to enable you to complete work in a timely manner and to high standards
- Coordinate the distribution of a range of internal communication products as required which may include the preparation of staff briefings, product/program launches, newsletters and bulletins together with the completion of background research and drafts for executive presentations, speeches, policy and/or program launches and advice on communication options for strategic issues management.
- Publish leadership messages, intranet content, news stories and Yammer posts.
- Support the production of video assets through assisting the video and multimedia specialist in planning, briefs and preparation prior to filming and delivery of assets to relevant stakeholders post production.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on communications plans and outcomes to ensure continuous improvement.
- Balancing competing demands to ensure all stakeholder requirements are attended to in a reasonable timeframe
- Establishing and maintaining effective relationships to develop trust and ensure reliable, accurate and useful information is exchanged with stakeholders.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- NSW government experience
- Demonstrated expertise in the design and management of content and information to promote effective organisational communication.
- Experience in developing channel content creation and campaign management desirable
- Platform management knowledge across Yammer, intranet, Hubspot, Teams etc desirable.
