About us

We exist for better days inspired by iconic flavour. It’s been three decades since Michael Allpress set up his first independent coffee cart. He bought a second-hand roaster and embarked on a bold entrepreneurial journey fueled by passion and the search for great flavour. Our little coffee cart helped introduce specialty coffee to New Zealand and changed the drinking habits of a nation. Today, we roast coffee for the best independent cafés in the world.

About the role

Our Roastery is the heart of our business and is run by a crew who are hardworking, no fuss and passionate about coffee.

We are always on the lookout for passionate coffee people to join our team to:
Roast and pack coffee beans

Drive and deliver beans to our customers across Melbourne

Pack and prepare online orders

Maintain the tidiness of the roastery and warehouse

About you

Ideally you’ll come from a Roastery, distribution or barista background or be someone who is passionate about coffee, loves working as part of a team and wants to develop their career in the industry.

To nail this role you’ll need:
A friendly manner and great communication

A passion for coffee or curiosity and willingness to learn

A full driver’s license (forklift license is an added bonus)

Warehouse, logistics or coffee experience is a plus

Any trade, technical or mechanical experience would be amazing

**Due to the delivery component of this position a full driver’s license is a must and some heavy lifting of coffee sacks is involved.
