About The School
Lockyer District High School (LDHS) is a secondary school located at Gatton with an enrolment of 970 students. LDHS has a proud history as a key educational provider in the Lockyer Valley.

About the Role
Your role will include but not limited to be working in the Trade Training Centre assisting teachers in delivery of lessons, workshop equipment maintenance, undertaking stocktakes and ordering materials as required. An engineering and or automotive background or skill set would be an advantage, being competent in using hand and power tools relevant to an automotive and engineering workplace. As this is a trade learning space, we are seeking a dedicated individual with good communication skills and an ability to adapt to change and learn quickly.
You will:
Perform general duties, including receipting, opening up, checking, storing and distributing supplies and stocks for the Trade Training Centre.
Manage equipment records, and maintaining tools and equipment for repair services (as per the manufacturer's service manual).
Liaise with various internal and external personnel such as tradespersons.
Attend Industry and Trade breakfasts with school partners.
**Requirements**:
In addition to the requirements specified in the attached Role Description, "Your Role" and "Your Opportunity" we are looking for someone who:
is able to work collaboratively with existing school staff including the Principal, Deputy Principals, Heads of Department, School Leadership Team, Business Manager, teachers and other non-teaching staff.
has experience with working with school students and / or young adults.
