**Position: Disability Support Worker**

**Location: Central Coast Compassionate Care, NSW, Australia**

**Job Type: Casual - Part-time**

**Hours: Minimum 15 hours per week (including split shifts and weekend availability)**

As a Disability Support Worker at Central Coast Compassionate Care, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing personalised care and support tailored to the individual needs of our clients.
- Assisting clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and domestic tasks.
- Supporting clients in accessing community activities, educational opportunities, and social events.
- Working collaboratively with family members, other care providers, and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Promoting independence and self-advocacy among our clients, respecting their choices and preferences.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records of care and support provided.

- Flexibility to work split shifts and weekends.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a disability/ aged care support role
- Relevant qualifications in disability care or a related field.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week

Schedule:

- Shift work

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
