You will have the opportunity to lead a team of professionals in Perpetual Corporate Trust. This role provides a unique opportunity to work with internal stakeholders and banking institutions.

Key role accountabilities include:
1. Client Service- Build effective relationships with internal clients and banking partners- Act upon Client instructions within required timeframes (SLAs)- Respond to client enquiries relating to various services, financial products, fees and conditions- Provision of timely information and reports to internal stakeholders- Use initiative, work with strict deadlines & perform tasks with high level of accuracy- Communicate effectively on issues / problems to Senior Management and ensure a proper and timely follow-up to ensure resolution- Appropriate handling of confidential and sensitive information in line with privacy policies.

2. Accounts Administration- Manage Perpetual Corporate Trust bank account opening and closure requests within agreed SLA- Maintain accounts in line with company policies and procedures, industry codes of conduct, and client instructions- Timely establishment of internal and external online banking user administration- Maintain accurate records in internal systems; both electronic and paper-based format- Verification of documentation and due diligence- Provide guidance, support, act as resource & assist team members from multiple operational areas relating to queries from both business and technology aspects- Support and provide analysis for business change and issues

3. Reconciliations- Perform daily account reconciliations- Match unreconciled items on bank accounts with internal information and systems- Ensure the timely monthly signoff of bank reconciliations- Produce ad hoc reconciliation reporting

4. Risk Management- Identify risks and determine ways to mitigate them- Review and provide input into team Risk Profile- Conduct assigned biannual Control Self-Assessments- Appropriate investigation and escalation of reconciliation and account administration functions.- Manage compliance within legal and statutory requirements

5. Team Management- Manage team of 6 including individual’s performance and development- Leadership by example- Coaching and mentoring

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills and experience could include:
- Sound understanding of trusts & related documentation- Solid understanding of AML and KYC industry standards- Bank account reconciliation knowledge- Experience with payments, payment infrastructure and investigation of payment issues- Leadership and people management experience- Demonstrated customer service and relationship management skills- Ability to effectively prioritise, manage deadlines and understand new ideas and concepts quickly- Self-motivated, adaptable and show initiative in different circumstances and under pressure- Good knowledge and understanding of financial markets and the Financial Services Industry- Knowledge of Privacy Act obligations, relevant industry codes and legislation- Strong analytical, problem solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi task-
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
