We are currently looking for a friendly and professional Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team and help maintain our high standards of service.

**Position Overview**

As a Food and Beverage Attendant at Maylands Lodge, you will be responsible for providing high-quality service to guests in our dining areas, ensuring an exceptional experience from start to finish. You will work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain a welcoming and efficient environment. Your role will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring all guest needs are met with professionalism and warmth.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring high standards of presentation.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on menu items, including wine and beverage pairings.
- Ensure dining areas are clean, well-presented, and prepared for service.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events and functions when required.
- Process payments and handle cash/credit transactions efficiently.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Address guest inquiries and requests with courtesy, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen and other staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of Maylands Lodge’s offerings, including special events and promotions.

**Qualifications & Skills Required**
- Previous experience in a similar food and beverage or hospitality role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently as required.
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
- RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate preferred or willingness to obtain.
