**About the role**

The role supports the triaging and workflow of a range of incoming notifications including complaints and incidents, in accordance with the directorate’s regulatory requirements.

**About you**
- Able to follow workflows and manage competing priorities to meet procedural and legislative timeframes.
- Capable of identifying which complaints or incidents need escalation, especially those with potential reputational or stakeholder impact.
- Monitors case progress and identifies risks accurately to ensure deadlines are met and records are kept current.
- Can clearly and professionally communicate updates to stakeholders and draft well-structured written reports and correspondence.
- Able to interpret regulatory data to provide informed advice that supports strategic decisions and responses.
- Takes responsibility for tasks and follows through to ensure timely and accurate completion of investigations and documentation.
- Works effectively with a coordinator and team, contributing insights and information that support broader regulatory efforts.
- Handles sensitive or high-impact matters with appropriate confidentiality and awareness of media and stakeholder sensitivities.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

**Essential requirements of the role**
- A valid Working with Children Check clearance
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
