WSP Property and Buildings Structures group have a role for an **Associate Director - Structures** to join our growing team in Melbourne.

**What you’ll do**

As an Associate Director you will:

- Operate in a market-facing and design delivery focused role;
- Handle ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with local clients;
- Proactively determine, manage, monitor and control scope of works;
- Project lead work across the design, delivery and tender phases for multi-year/packaged work for turnkey projects;
- Ensure timely and quality of delivery for project and structural engineering work in support of relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards - and in alignment with schedules and budgets;
- Manage effective stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally;
- Provide sound technical/delivery guidance for the team;
- Champion own continual professional development and mentor, train and develop the careers of junior engineers;
- Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.

**About you**
- Proven experience in providing key technical expertise across a broad range of high profile projects as the project leader;
- A proven track record in leading large sized multidiscipline projects;
- Typically 12 to 15+ years’ industry experience;
- Well-developed client facing, business development and account/relationship management skills;
- The ability to lead, train and mentor junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects.
