**About the role**:
We have an exciting opportunity as Head of Commercial to join our Power Generation team reporting to the General Manager Power Generation. This role will manage key commercial function in the business unit in respect of both revenue contracts (PPAs) and commercial contracts (contracting and procurement), working closely with both the Operations and Engineering teams.

Working with major customers to build effective commercial relationships to maintain and grow existing energy supply agreements. This role is also responsible for the negotiation and approval of new or prospective customer commercial arrangements. Establishes company standards of due diligence, commercial assurance and commercial decision making in the Power Generation business.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Ensure effective management of existing and new revenue contract arrangements
- Ensure commercial integrity of the BU is maintained and enhanced through key commercial functions
- Understand and ensure business complies with regulatory, governance and community requirements
- Ensure commercial risk is identified, assessed and managed in a proactive manner
- Build productive internal and external relationships to facilitate the delivery of effective business outcomes

**To be successful you will have**:

- Tertiary qualification in an appropriate business or engineering discipline
- Extensive experience at a senior commercial level with significant power generation industry experience
- Extensive experience with market analysis, customer management, contract management and risk identification & mitigation
- Ability to provide analytical thinking, commercial acumen and foster open communication with stakeholders to influence
- Display competent leadership qualities in strategic planning and overcome obstacles whilst developing others
