**About the role**

- Opportunity to lead the hospital's development and implementation of a clinical documentation improvement (CDI) program.
- Be a major contributor to the development of a digital clinical information strategy to move from paper based to digital and electronic functionality.
- Gain valuable experience/knowledge in the areas of case mix and clinical costing, health fund and public sector contract areas

**About you**
- Experience in Clinical Information Management including leading and managing clinical coding, auditing, and medical records content
- Current understanding of episodic or activity based funding principles
- Ability to engage and work with a range of stakeholders including nursing and medical specialists
- A proven track record in achieving consistent compliance with clinical coding and auditing standards
- Significant experience managing clinical coding, medical records and/or related work teams
- Strong networks within the Clinical Information community within Australia
- Current experience in a similar role preferably in a larger private hospital environment
- Tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management
- Full membership of HIMAA
