**Client Services Area Leader - **Receptionist** **within a Veterinary Hospital**

**Part-Tim**e (4 days) **Rosebud Hospital**

**Are you an experienced customer service representative with a passion for animals** and people**?**

Peninsula Vet Care is a group of five locally owned and operated veterinary hospitals combined with a 24-hour emergency and specialist referral hospital on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula.

We have exciting opportunities for highly motivated customer service representatives with exceptional communication and organisational skills to join our general practice hospitals.

**About t**he role**

We are looking for part-time (35 hours per week). Our business operates 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays 9am to 5pm and Sundays 10am to 2pm.

The position includes the following responsibilities:

- Managing multiple incoming phone lines and directing calls
- Scheduling appointments and communicating booking requirements to clients
- Communicating patient arrivals and emergencies to clinical staff
- Finalising invoices, processing client payments and balancing the till
- Maintaining a clean and presentable front of house
- Completing a variety of administration tasks

**About you**
- Available weekdays between 8am to 7pm
- Minimum three years’ experience in a general receptionist role
- Ability to provide high levels of customer service
- Exceptional phone manner and communication skills
- The ability to build positive relationships
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work efficiently and with initiative in a fast-paced environment
- A professional and positive demeanour

Previous veterinary experience is not a requirement for this position, but a passion for customer service is
