**The role**:
We have launched our enterprise Cyber Improvement Program, part of which will improve Ampol’s recovery capabilities from a cyber or other significant event. The role will be reporting to the IT Risk & Continuity Manager and responsible for delivery of desired outcomes within scope, schedule and budget. Key outcomes include establishing: information technology system recovery capabilities and associated plans, mapping services, technical dependencies, people, geographic, supplier & other supporting information to establish the plans & procedures required to support the effective recovery from disasters (cyber and natural disaster events).
We are looking for a team player, agile and comfortable working in a dynamic environment who embraces change. Based in Alexandria, with available car parking and transport options, this is a Hybrid role with work from home options.
This is a 1 year fixed term contract with opportunity to go permanent
**Key duties**:
- Establishing an agreed project plan ensuring key stakeholders are engaged.
- Activity tracking, issue & project risk management.
- Facilitation of workshops to identify organisational recovery capabilities, supporting technology, team and supplier dependencies at multiple layers.
- Gather, document and complete the stakeholder review of the requirements and technical information prior to handover for entry into IT’s CMDB, ensuring consistency and accuracy of information across domains as more information is gathered and plans are created.
- Defining maintenance processes to ensure the data remains up to date and clarifying asset ownership.
- Working with the ServiceNow Configuration Lead to ensure the Disaster Recovery Plans leveraging the information gathered for the CMDB And workflows configured appropriately.
**About you**:
The role would suit a person with a technical analyst background and project management experience looking for the opportunity to transition their skills into the development and implementation of Cyber Resilience and Recovery programs.
Ideally, you have had similar experience within projects involving Disaster Recovery planning, service mapping and/or configuration management and been a core contributor these initiatives across large organisations.
- Degree qualified in relevant discipline (such as Business, IT, Engineering) or significant workplace equivalent experience.
- Certifications in IIBA, BCS, PMI, APMG or otherwise
- Demonstrated experience working in a large matrix environment as a Technical Analyst in a business facing role
- Diplomatic, ability to work across both Business and IT teams
- Demonstrated capacity of translating thought into action and being fully accountable for results
- Previous experience with disaster recovery, service mapping, business continuity, infrastructure projects is desired but not essential
- Certifications and/or experience in the Cyber domain is a plus.
