**About the Role**
The Junior Credit Assistant plays a key role supporting the BlueRock Financial Operations team and contributing to their overall success. This permanent, full-time opportunity will have you working day to day with our diverse client-facing advisors and their clients. No two days will be the same in this vibrant and fast-paced role.
**What you’ll be doing**
- Engaging with our Credit Manager and other team members to assist with aspects of our debt collection process.
- Utilising technology to assist with making our debt recovery process run smoothly and efficiently
- Utilize financial data and tools to compile reports and present findings to the credit department.
- Engaging with BlueRock clients in a firm but diplomatic manner to produce great results for both parties while maintaining good relationships.
- Creating reports for Managers and Directors Identifying and implementing process improvement.
- Making regular phone calls to follow up on debtors
**Requirements**:
We want to hear from people who have:
- Up to 1 year experience in a similar role, ideally within a commercial/professional services or call centre environment working with multiple stakeholders
- Clear and effective communication is essential.
- The ability to explain complex financial issues in a way that clients can understand and the ability be persuasive without being confrontational.
- A tertiary degree ideally in a financial field
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Willingness to make outbound phone calls to clients
- Collections experience is highly regarded
