Working with us you’ll create positive impact for our community and contribute to our very own Be BlueRock Foundation with pro bono and volunteering opportunities. **About the Role** The Junior Credit Assistant plays a key role supporting the BlueRock Financial Operations team and contributing to their overall success. This permanent, full-time opportunity will have you working day to day with our diverse client-facing advisors and their clients. No two days will be the same in this vibrant and fast-paced role. **What you’ll be doing** - Engaging with our Credit Manager and other team members to assist with aspects of our debt collection process. - Utilising technology to assist with making our debt recovery process run smoothly and efficiently - Utilize financial data and tools to compile reports and present findings to the credit department. - Engaging with BlueRock clients in a firm but diplomatic manner to produce great results for both parties while maintaining good relationships. - Creating reports for Managers and Directors Identifying and implementing process improvement. - Making regular phone calls to follow up on debtors **Requirements**: We want to hear from people who have: - Up to 1 year experience in a similar role, ideally within a commercial/professional services or call centre environment working with multiple stakeholders - Clear and effective communication is essential. - The ability to explain complex financial issues in a way that clients can understand and the ability be persuasive without being confrontational. - A tertiary degree ideally in a financial field - Strong Microsoft Excel skills - Willingness to make outbound phone calls to clients - Collections experience is highly regarded **Benefits** **Our people love to work for us, here’s why**: - We believe in work-life integration this approach allows our people to find the balance that works best for them, accommodating their individual needs and day-to-day flexibility whilst also recognising the value of connecting in our amazing office. - We have our very own BlueRock public holidays to give our people the day off, on us - Free weekly lunches, awesome social events (including a social club - winery tours to museum tours), and an amazing headquarters in the CBD. - Access to 24/7 wellbeing, medical and safety support through our partner Sonder. - Receive mentoring and coaching from industry leaders - We are known for creating plenty of opportunities for growth and promotion. - An inclusive and diverse workplace culture centred on meaningful work, wellbeing and fun. **How to apply**: If this sounds like you, then please click on the "Apply" button and follow the prompts.
