Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south to Gympie in the north.
The role will provide advice on best practice rehabilitation and return to work strategies with a focus on improving outcomes for injured/ill workers including minimising time spend away from work, expediting recovery, decreasing social and financial impacts of injury and minimising the impact of workplace injury on work teams.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Provide contemporary expert advice and support for the management of rehabilitation within the context of legislative / regulatory and SCHHS rehabilitation frameworks
- Assist in the development of internal processes and framework targeted to intake, address and manage complex cases
- Provide comprehensive and expert injury management advice, education and consultancy services to workers, directorate leaders and executives, providing quality cost-effective injury management solutions to facilitate safe and sustainable outcomes for workers participating in rehabilitation and return to work programs.
- Manage complex rehabilitation cases including consultation with injured or ill workers, Workforce Advisors, medical and allied health practitioners and other relevant stakeholders to drive early intervention measures in managing complex cases from end to end and the provision of detailed suitable duties plans, medical correspondence and executive briefs.
