**About the role**

The engine room of our business, our Central Operations team keeps us moving and delivering our services to all Australians. We empower and support our retail teams across the country, helping them deliver great experiences for our customers every single day.

As part of the next phase of Smarter Selling transformation our fresh produce division is looking for an experienced Forecast Specialist to join the team on a 12 month secondment.

**What you’ll be doing**

You will be responsible for the analysis of sales forecast opportunities and trends, resolving issues and targeting interventions, with the goal of delivering improved forecast effectiveness and to drive improved customer outcomes

**You'll also**
- Review, monitor and manage category forecast exceptions and alerts, with the use of dashboards, data, and reports.
- be adaptable to change with the ability React and revise forecast volumes for promotional changes, unexpected events and store disruption issues
- find ways to improve system forecast accuracy and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to improve system forecast quality
- act as a trusted advisor and business partner to internal stakeholders to develop their use of forecast data to achieve commercial outcomes

**you’ll also need**
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in Supply Chain in large scale retail industry
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks to deliver KPI in timely manner
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, to both manage and resolve immediate issues, as well as identify future opportunities
- Ability to use data to model scenarios and generate meaningful insights, supported by accurate and consistent commercials
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
