**What You Will Be Doing**
An opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced Health Information Manager/Clinical Coder to join a passionate and friendly service with a focus on quality improvement and high performance. We offer flexible and family friendly working conditions and the potential to work from home. You will be coding from our exciting electronic medical record (EMR) to deliver accurate and timely data, contributing to Peninsula Health's NWAU targets and DoH submission deadlines.

Peninsula Health provides integrated patient-centred healthcare to the residents of South Eastern/Bayside suburbs and the entire Mornington Peninsula.

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- Bachelor of Health Information Management or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge and working experience of Australian Clinical Coding principles and standards
- Understanding of data reporting requirements ie VAED and Victorian Department of Health Admission Policy
- Advanced Computer Skills (desirable)

Essential: Recent clinical coding knowledge and experience working in a health care setting using ICD10AM (12th Edition)

Essential: Eligibility for membership of the Health Information Managers Association of Australia (HIMAA)
