**What You Will Be Doing**
The Coding Auditor plays an important role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and quality of our coded data. The coding auditor works as part of a team to ensure coding compliance with the Australian Coding Standards, VICC advice and IHACPA guidelines. The Coding Auditor works closely with the CDI team to advise on the information required for education of clinical staff with regard to clinical documentation and how it affects the quality for the coded information.
This position is also accountable for the provision of coded patient data, participating in quality improvement activities, combined with maintaining professional links within Peninsula Health.
Position Description
**What You Need**
We anticipate you will have:
- Bachelor of Health Information Management or equivalent / higher qualification
- Excellent knowledge of clinical coding principals and standards.
- Demonstrated auditing experience Recent clinical coding knowledge and experience using ICD10AM**What Next**

- Please refer to salary circular ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONALS (VICTORIAN PUBLIC SECTOR) (SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2021 - 2026 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
