**Job Purpose**:
An interesting Cyber Security Systems Lead role has become available to join a fast growing and highly successful organization that truly gives back

In this role you will be reporting to the CISO and working with other engineers and architects across the business to design, develop, and manage security tooling and frameworks that enable easy adoption of security best practices.

This is a hands-on technical role, where you will get the opportunity to build relationships with stakeholders and really influence the organizations’ Cyber capability.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information
- Identify and define system security requirements
- Design security architecture/develop detailed cyber security designs
- Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
- Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices/software
- Develop technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
- Utilize the Security Incident Response plan, inform stakeholders about security incidents
- Research security weaknesses and develop methods to counter them
- Collaborate cross functionally to make design/strategy decisions
- Conduct research to identify threats and attack vectors
- Knowledge transfer and communication of implementation plans
- Assist Security Governance with technical efforts

**Key Skills Required**:

- 5+ Years’ of experience in Systems Security Engineering roles
- Experience working in Linux Admin/Engineer roles
- Proficient with various Security Linux based environments
- Endpoint detection and response experience
- Experience with Web, Mobile and Microservices
- Experience in building and maintaining security systems
- Technical knowledge of database and operating system security
- Understanding of Firewalls - specifically Palo Alto
- Experience dealing with stakeholders
- Australian Citizenship
