**About the Role**
Your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the delivery of core and elective teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate construction programs, including tutorials and site visits, and supporting curriculum and resource development.
- Directly involving in student assessment, providing feedback, and offering empathetic support and guidance to students, while engaging in professional development activities.
- Engaging in team collaboration, participating in committees, and supporting University initiatives to enhance teaching quality, while adhering to University policies and fostering a safe, inclusive workplace.
**Who we are looking for**
You will be a self-motivated individual with excellent planning and organisational skills, capable of working autonomously to meet deadlines. You will also possess highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to upholding the University’s standards of behaviour and contributing to a safe, diverse, and inclusive workplace.
You will also have:
- A PhD or Masters degree in a built environment discipline.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in the construction industry, within commercial and/or domestic sectors.
- Demonstrated teaching experience in construction, with the ability to educate, inspire, and support students as part of a team.
- Expertise in construction methodology, building materials, procurement routes, and relevant regulations, particularly in commercial construction.
