Waringa Distribution is a rapidly growing importer and distributor of premium agricultural equipment throughout Australia and NZ. We are now seeking an experienced Technician to help us develop and enhance products with OEMs to suit the Australian market

Waringa Distribution is part of the Waringa Group, a fast-growing, diversified agri-business with farming, aviation and distribution operations. The newly created Mechanical Engineering Technician will support our growth by enhancing our technical expertise and communications with our OEMs.
- Work on Development and enhancement of new farm equipment products in terms of fit to Australian conditions
- Communicate to OEM’s by detailed drawings and designs of improvements to ensure engineering modifications are effected correctly
- Manage ongoing communication with OEMs to coordinate technical feedback and hold teams accountable to timeframes and commitments
- Assemble and install new modified machinery and components to ensure operational efficiency
- Arrange demo’s, trials and field days to test product and provide feedback to OEM’s and our Product Support team
- Manage field tests and analyse data to assist with Research for the OEM’s
- Provide technical product training (including videos / online content) to our dealers, product support team and direct customers
- Supervise inspection and maintenance of machines to ensure they meet OEM specifications
- Assist the Product Support team as required - including troubleshooting (especially newer products), attending farmer field days, etc
- Help MD and GM assess the suitability of new product opportunities, including technical and cost / benefit analysis
- Assist with articulating and presenting Warranty claims as required.

You will demonstrate sound technical acumen, good organisation skills and excellent communication skills. The ability to speak German and/or French would also be a distinct advantage given the location of our OEMs.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
