Your new role

The focus of the Senior 12d Designer is to undertake design, modelling, automation and visualisation consulting services within Civil Infrastructure, to support drainage, roads, utilities, earthworks, pavements, transport infrastructure, building projects, in order to enhance the team’s portfolio of skills and expertise

What you need to succeed
- You will provide concept and detailed designs and technical solutions for also road and drainage design, rail design, pavement design, utility design and coordination, site development and associate site investigations.
- You will use a combination of standard and modified design methods/techniques in order to solve problems particularly using 12D, AutoCAD and MicroStation but also parametric software such as Grasshopper/Rhino.
- Mentor and counsel Junior designers and engineers to enhance their professional development while on the project.

Skills | Experience | Qualifications
- Recognised relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualifications in Civil Engineering, Drafting or equivalent.
- Open to 2 years experience in the delivery of Civil Design with an emphasis on designing roads, drainage, water, sewer and WSUD elements within a consulting business environment Experience in the operation of software design tools including 12D, MicroStation or AutoCAD. In addition,
- Experience using hydraulic modelling packages would be an advantage.
- Ability to undertake parametric design would be preferable.
