**About the role**
**TAFE SA** is looking for a highly motivated and experienced **Support Coordinator** to join the Student Experience team. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality, student-centric services by supervising and coordinating support staff while maintaining operational efficiency. The Support Coordinator provides expert advice, resolves complex inquiries, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall student experience.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver exceptional, student-focused customer service by addressing complex inquiries and providing timely resolutions or escalations.
- Coordinate support staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and systems, implementing and reviewing processes effectively.
- Manage administrative and customer service functions to support TAFE SA's business operations, meeting performance indicators.
- Assist Team Leaders with staff supervision, mentoring, coaching, and rostering.
- Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance and timely updates of information.
- Demonstrated experience in providing high-quality, student/customer-centric service in a front-line environment.
- Proven ability to resolve complex customer queries and escalate appropriately based on risk.
- Strong skills in coordinating and mentoring staff within a continuously changing environment.
- Experience managing fluctuating workloads in a high-volume, deadline-driven service setting.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups, including individuals with disabilities and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
- Advanced knowledge of systems and tools, including databases, Office365, Excel, and Word, with a focus on maintaining data quality.
- Understanding of Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) requirements.

**Special Conditions**
- Out of hours work will be required
- Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
- Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Development Program.
