**Key responsibilities of this role include**: - Lead the development and implementation of a broad range of stakeholder engagement activities across the state which promote renewable hydrogen education and awareness. Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of complex submissions, briefing notes, project plans, presentations, speeches, publications, reports and correspondence as required. Exercise judgment, authority and high level influence to manage multiple competing priorities, working either as part of a team, or individually, to deliver tasks on time and with high-quality outputs.
- Effectively plan and manage projects using an agile-aligned methodology and support project delivery across divisional teams. Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders within the department and, provide effective and consistent input to whole-of-department communication strategies and messaging. Build, manage and maintain positive and effective relationships and networks with key stakeholders including industry, community services, local government and community leaders. Develop key messages and content for speeches, presentations and reports as required for the DDG and ED's speaking opportunities and events. Collaborate, and work in close partnership, with the department's Communication Unit to deliver a variety of content across digital and traditional media including social media activities. Support and work in collaboration with other Queensland Government agencies to develop and deliver regional engagement and educative activities (i.e. forums, workshops etc). Support community engagement activities associated with major policy and operational projects. Identify concerns, gaps in information, emerging trends across stakeholder groups and geographic areas and identify risks/opportunities to inform future engagements. Be an active part of the Hydrogen Division and provide strategic engagement advice to the Executive Director and Deputy-Director General of the Hydrogen Division.
