The ASRM group is looking to welcome experienced and non-experienced Security officers to join our expanding team on a full time, part time basis in the South Eastern side of Melbourne.

Reporting to the Operations team and Supervisors at each site, you will be required to provide a high level of service to our clients by being efficient and demonstrating a quick response to incidents as they occur.

The roles you will perform can change regularly and involve positions like Patient Watch, Covid access, Roaming, Concierge and Loading Dock to name a few.

Shift times can be mornings from 0600hrs or afternoons from 1400hrs or nights from 1900hrs and can include 8 hour or 12 hour shifts. ASRM is happy to accommodate your preferences on days, afternoons or nights, so you get to work the hours you want to work.

**Your responsibilities will include -**
- Ensure visitors comply with the conditions of entry and venue / site rules
- Respond to incidents while always using conflict resolution and de-escalation tools
- Provide a high-quality visual security presence
- Demonstrate knowledge and competence in the implementation of emergency procedures
- Be willing to undertake additional site training.

**What you would need to bring to the role -**
- Hold a current Victorian Private Security individual licence with the activities of Crowd Controller and Security Guard
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service approach
- Ability to act, think quickly and maintain professionalism in high pressure situations
- High level of physical fitness with the ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Good personal presentation and hygiene
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
- Experience with radio protocol and communications
- Provide 3 vaccinations confirmation certificate.

**Desirable but not essential**
- First Aid - level 2 or above
- If you don’t have these currencies, we can put you through our registered training organization to obtain. Staff of the ASRM Group receive discounts on all training courses.

**Our recruitment process**
- Phone conversation (5 to 10 minutes) suitability test
- Face to face interview (30 minutes)
- Selection and formal offer

Successful applicants will be required to undertake a pre-employment screening and potential training. ASRM may withdraw an employment offer in the event of an unsatisfactory screening or training result.

**Please note, this role is for the Eastern Hospitals only, being Box Hill, Ringwood, Upper Ferntree Gully, Lilydale and Healesville hospitals. You will not be required to work at all of them, just the closest to your home if that suits.**
