**Disability Support Worker**:

- $40 - $72 per hour
- Arana Hills based
- 24/7 care required

**About the Company**:
Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

Pay rates are; day shift - $40 p/hr, afternoon shift - $44 p/hr, night shift - $44.80 p/hr, Saturday shift - $56 p/hr and Sunday shift - $72 p/hr.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Daily assistance and personal care support to participants such as personal hygiene, bathing, grooming and toileting
- Hoisting participant in and out of bed
- Administrating medication
- Assisting with bowel management plan
- Taking participant to appointments and other community access activities
- Domestic duties such as meal preparation, cooking and cleaning
- Provide emotional support

**Skills & Experiences**:

- Completed a minimum of Certificate IV in Disability
- Must have a driver's licence and reliable transport
- Prior experience working with people who have complex care needs
- Experience with seizure management
- Must have bowel management experience - bowel management plans
- Must have hoisting experience
- Must have experience with challenging behaviours/behaviours of concern
- Current First Aid & CPR
- National Police Clearance
- NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module
- COVID 19 Infection Control certificate
- Full Australian working rights
- Positive Attitudes and flexibility in shift times
- Reliable and proactive
