Brisbane, Australia Creative Living Supports Full time

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Assisting with personal care i.e., showering, toileting, and dressing.
- Assisting with preparing meals, sleep over shifts (Sleep Over shifts - maximum of 3 shifts per week).
- Assist with participant’s physical and mobility requirements in accordance with training provided and the relevant workforce health and safety standard, including transferring of participants.
- Facilitate community inclusion and participation, dependent on individual needs, abilities, and preferences, and support participants to establish and maintain relationships and interests through access to community activities, venues, and services.
- Comply with organizational requirements including, but not limited to, liaison with management, reporting of service issues, completion of documentation, attendance at training, and participation in meetings.
- Liaise with and provide assistance to other Disability Workers, under the direction of the Team Leader.
- Abide by the service communication, reporting, and participant program progress practices and procedures, by maintaining appropriate participant records. And work with participants, family members, and other stakeholders in a collaborative and supportive manner.
- Recognize and uphold the right to privacy, dignity, and confidentiality of the person being supported and their family.
- Work within the policies and procedures of Creative Living Supports and the provisions of the Workplace Health and Safety and other relevant Legislation, including support for injured workers and full participation in return-to-work plans.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
