We have an exciting opportunity awaits within the company. Grundfos Australia are seeking the skills of a professional Pump Assembler to join our friendly, inclusive, and highly inspirational Production team, based in our Adelaide office, servicing our customers in the country.

**Some of your key responsibilities as a Pump Assembler are to ensure **that all mechanical pumps are assembled according to standard operating procedures, Bills of Materials (BOM’s) and technical drawings. You will also be conducting pump testing, following all Grundfos protocols, procedures, and making sure any testing, quality or performance problems are recorded, including any faulty products/non-confirming components, in accordance with GPA and Manufacturing/Production policies and procedures are reported to the Team Leader or with the Production Manager.**:
**You will also be given the chance to identify opportunities for change/improvements to Manufacturing or Production procedures, processes, testing, inspections, storage, and assembly of products (Lean Manufacturing) and some more activities that you will be undertaking on a daily but not limited to the following**:

- Ensure pumps are suitably packed, wrapped and labelled
- Ensure that BOM's are changed where appropriate to reflect the correct components required for assembly to Grundfos Standards
- Ensure stock is maintained accurately by recording any discrepancies, usages, and stock movements
- Ensure sufficient Do Not Pick (DNP) items are maintained to meet daily requirements if required.
- Consistently achieve productivity KPI’s as determined by the Team Leader or with the Production Manager
- Maintain the cleanliness of the general working area and machinery
- Participate in rotational production multi-skilling and rostering programmes
- Any other reasonable work as requested, commensurate with the position
- Should be a fully qualified Forklift license in Australia (or be able to obtain the equivalent mutual recognition)
- Must have 2 - 3 years assembly experience in Australia
- Must have TFO (Transitional Facility Operator, MPI) or at a push AP (Accredited Person, MPI)
- Ideally has SAP knowledge or good computer skills
- Experience working as a leading hand
- With background in doing First Aid
- Experience working with Materiel Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and an ability to work with processes or projects within the service environment
- Awareness of Manual Handling and knowledge in WHS practices
