Program Adviser

**THE ROLE**
Reporting to the Team Leader, the Program Advisor will be responsible for completing requests for information, triaging and providing advice on WWC Check notices received (e.g. prohibition, suspension, interim/WWC exclusion, and revocation) for kinship carers engaged by the department as well as responding to any other general enquiries.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Provide wide-ranging support functions within the Working with Children Check and Information Service including preparing responses to Requests for Information, providing support and advice to key stakeholders, and undertaking day-to-day administrative functions.
- Provide advice and reasoned recommendations to internal and external stakeholders on highly complex and sensitive issues.
- Prepare high-quality written materials including briefings and correspondence.
