You will ensure a mix of strategic and current operational objectives are achieved by leveraging innovative digital capability to better understand and convey the asset management story to stakeholders. You will be responsible for promoting work underway, as well as advocating and progressing high business value use cases with TMR's digital program.

**Accountabilities include**:

- Provide leadership and guidance to uplift and embed digital capability across asset management areas to embrace digital innovation and new ways of working (that use agile, iterative and human centred design approaches) by modelling and supporting others to adopt digital mindsets and ways of working.
- Lead, maintain and promote the continued improvement of asset management initiatives using the Transport Data Exchange (TDx) Framework to continue to gain insight and better outcomes in the asset management context.
- Lead, improve and maintain the unit's capability and capacity to leverage contemporary data integration and reporting tools through championing the potential benefits and opportunities of tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Matillion, Snowflake and other cloud-based technologies.
- Collaborate with other areas (including Engineering & Technology, Information Technology Branch and Finance) in harnessing digital capability and promote opportunities to leverage skills, learnings and expertise and align asset management activities.
- Contribute to the growth and continuous improvement of infrastructure asset management SharePoint Site and Yammer community.
- Actively participate and represent TMR in projects, studies, and other infrastructure related initiatives, specifically utilising digital capability initiatives to better improve asset management outcomes.
- Communicate technical information to a range of audiences in a compelling way tailored to the audience. Prepare and present information to large and small groups.
- Monitor and report on the progress of initiatives to relevant stakeholders.
- Actively participate in conversations about performance to build and support a culture of performance improvement.

This position reports to the Director (Transport System Asset Management) and has no direct reports.
