**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Assistant Buyer to support the Buyers in all merchandise related activities.

**THIS ROLE WILL SEE YOU**:

- Store visits as required;
- Maintain the product database including: data upload and download, SKU creation, price changes, creation of new supplier and maintaining supplier details within GloB+;
- Work closely with the Buying Team to support them in ensuring data update processes and procedures are being followed;
- Communication of price changes to the warehouse and stores;
- Promotional and rebate administration support;
- Maintain and update detailed mailing list of suppliers and contacts;
- Organise supplier meetings and participate when required;
- Ensure professional verbal and written communication with suppliers in regards to buying related matters as requested by the Buyer.

**YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES WILL BE**:

- Timely and accurate processing of all supplier details;
- Timely and accurate processing of all product updates;
- Timely and accurate communication of price changes to stores;
- Develop and maintain positive supplier relationships to support the best business outcomes for Lotte Duty Free;
- Develop and maintain positive store relationships to support the best business outcomes for Lotte Duty Free.

**WHO ARE YOU?**

**_ Essential_**
- Previous administrative experience in a buying environment;
- Knowledge/experience of retail operations;
- High level of numeracy skills;
- Very high level of attention to detail;
- High level of data entry skills;
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills(excluding Access);
- Demonstrable ability to manage various competing priorities and the ability to assess and resolve problems;
- A sense of urgency and the ability to translate this into effective organisational practices and time management including prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines;
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.

**_ Desirable_**
- Previous administrative experience in a buying environment with remote multi-site arrangement;
- Tertiary level education;
- Knowledge and experience in developing processes and procedures;
- Knowledge/experience of international brands;
- Experience in dealing with Customs.
