**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
knowmore Legal Service is seeking expressions of interest from law students for volunteer paralegal roles in our Brisbane based office.

knowmore is a national community legal service providing advice and assistance to survivors of child abuse and childhood removals. knowmore is a multidisciplinary service and our legal team works alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait engagement advisors, financial counsellors, support workers, and intake officers.

The position is one day per week but can be flexible to accommodate study and other commitments.

Duties and responsibilities include:

- Legal research
- Communication with third party organisations such as private firms and the National Redress Scheme
- Filing and file organisation
- Assisting lawyers with other tasks as required
- Attending local outreach trips
