**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
knowmore legal service (knowmore) is seeking expressions of interest from law students for volunteer paralegal roles in our Brisbane based office.

knowmore is a multidisciplinary service and our legal team works alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander engagement advisors, financial counsellors, counsellors/social workers and intake officers.

The position is one day per week, but can be flexible to accommodate study and other commitments.

Duties and responsibilities include:

- Legal research
- Communication with third party organisations such as private firms and the National Redress Scheme
- Filing and file organisation
- Assisting lawyers with other tasks as required
- Attending local outreach trips
