Thales' Airspace Mobility Solutions (AMS) business manages 11% of the worlds’ airspace and is the global leader in Air Traffic Management. The OneSKY Project with AMS, will deliver a new integrated civil and military air traffic management system known as CMATS.

**The opportunity**

We have an exciting senior Key Accounts Manager opportunity to join our business, leading and driving the growth our portfolio both in the defence and civil markets. This role is sits at a corporate group level but there will be a specific focus in supporting the OneSKY project.
- Managing customer relations, particularly with the aviation & Airforce segment with an aim to increase order intake.
- Partnering closely with customers to relay information of general interest i.e. changes in customer structure, need or budget.
- Devising the plan and strategy for key accounts and sharing it with other Thales countries and businesses.
- Data tracking and updating to support the enhancement of our processes and customer tracking for Group Customer Relation Management (GCRM)
- Leading, managing & active participation in the Key Account Promotion plan.
- Support the sales teams to secure order intake and in the Main rules for Bid Approvals (MRBA) process.

Ideally, we would like this role to be based in Canberra but are open to having this person be located in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne (with some interstate travel required).

**About you**

Ideally, we are looking for a highly adaptable sales/key account leader who has the ability to prioritise and bring customers along on the journey and make a difference for the business. To meet the requirements of the role with ease you will ideally have:

- Prior experience in a Senior Sales position with exposure to the aviation markets
- Highly developed strategic and analytical skills for key decision making
- Extensive experience working in a multi-national sales environment
- Ability to lead in an international environment with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Exceptional customer focus and the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity
- Existing Security Clearance or ability to attain one (Australian Citizenship requirement)
