**The Role**:
Based in our Mascot office, the General Laborer undertakes a range of tasks to support the Factory and Workshop Manager to complete tasks located both onsite and off site. This role may be utilised to work with other 5B teams if and when required to help achieve key milestones.

The General Labourers are to work within their capabilities to assist with the completion of tasks and small roles that ensure 5B are able to hit their deadlines and requirements.

**Core Accountabilities**:

- Performs various physical duties as assigned.
- Maintain all safety standards.
- Moves, secures, installs, builds, loads, or unloads materials.
- Performs some specialized tasks which may require on-the job training.
- Effectively using heavy and light equipment, depending on the jobsite/assignment.
- Moves items from place to place, according to direction from the workshop lead.
- Assist with purchasing/picking up of materials and components as well as the delivery of items as required
- Moving tools, equipment, or other material as directed in plans or by workshop lead.
- Assist in an assortment of tasks both within the workshop, Industrial site and HQ or on external sites.
- Pickup or drop off equipment as required or requested by team members.
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, etc)
- Maintain a tidy, safe working environment
- Contribute to the development and implementation of workshop safety procedures and continuous improvement of processes
- Work as a part of a team within the workshop area and support other business functions where required

**Are you our next All-Star?**
- Experience as a General hand/trades assistant/general laborer in the past
- Must have a drivers license
- Fortklift license would be an advantage
