Join an exciting, growing technology company in Mascot NSW. As Accounts Officer at Avalias, you will provide bookkeeping and administrative support, working in conjunction with our Directors and external accountants to manage the day-to-day financial requirements of the business.

This part-time role would suit an all-rounder who has good bookkeeping experience and enjoys a variety of tasks. The number of days in the role is flexible with 22.8 hours required per week. The role can be hybrid with at least one day per week at the Mascot office required, including meetings.

The salary listed is pro-rata.

Primary responsibilities:

- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and management.
- Payroll
- Prepare Management Reports & Budgets - compiling data and analysis of results.
- Bank reconciliations
- Prepare quarterly Business Activity Statements and other statutory reporting compliance.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and team members.
- Work with the management team and external auditors on business financials.
- Ad-hoc administration duties as required.

About You

Your profile for success in this role:

- At least three years’ experience within a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience with online accounting software for multiple company structure and trust accounts.
- Accounting qualifications
- Understand Accounting Standards and Accounting Practices
- In depth knowledge of Payroll and ability to manage the function end-to-end.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with overseas transactions and currency exchange.
- Experience with revenue recognition.
- Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- A background in IT services or consulting sectors would be highly regarded.
