
Program Support Officer, Queensland Telestroke Service

**About the role
Provide high quality administrative support the Queensland Telestroke Service (QTS) team to assist with implementing and ongoing operation of a new virtual service across Queensland.
Assist with facilitating and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships with QTS including but not limited to Senior Executives from all Queensland Hospital and Health services, Queensland Virtual Hospital, the Queensland Stroke Clinical Network (QSCN) and Clinical Excellence Queensland and Digital Metro North
Provide high quality administrative and confidential secretarial support to the Queensland Telestroke Service, associated governance boards and steering committees.
Assist with scheduling and managing activities of the QTS team ensuring optimal usage of their time.
About you
Demonstrate a strong understanding of workloads within the service and take a team approach in providing support to other staff within the team structure to ensure priority tasks are completed and deadlines met.
Provide high level diary management, negotiating and organising meeting times, locations, and planning schedules ahead of time.
Exercise judgement when necessary to solve immediate problems in situations where precedents have not been set and procedures are not defined.
