**About the Role**

Created in 2007, the **RAS Foundation** is helping to build strong, vibrant rural and regional communities by providing a range of grants and scholarships for education and community development.

We are looking for an exceptional coordinator with a background in fundraising and donor stewardship to join our **RAS Foundation (RASF)** team. In this newly created role, you will provide administrative support and stewardship assistance to the Manager, RAS Foundation in relation to RASF donors including individual donors, Trusts, RAS Members, potential supporters and sponsors.

This role is on a part-time basis of 22.8 hours per week, with flexibility of those hours being over 3 to 4 days. This role requires additional hours in the lead up, during & post Sydney Royal Easter Show and RASF related events.

You will be an exceptional communicator with an obvious passion for everything the RASF stands for and delivers. You will have a strong empathy for and awareness of rural and regional Australia and be pivotal in providing strong administrative and relationship support.

**You will also have**
- Demonstrated background as a fundraising professional or in a similar role
- Motivated by the idea of helping rural and regional communities
- Superior verbal and written communication skills with high emotional intelligence
- Strong proficiency in technology platforms and a quick learner
- Experience in database or CRM use
- Ability communicating and working with a range of stakeholders
- High attention to detail

We manage the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Sydney Royal competitions, the RAS Foundation, Australasian Animal Registry, and the Sydney Showground. The RAS has a team of over 130 full-time staff and an indispensable pool of casual staff who work on the Easter Show, and other Sydney Showground events.
