A great part time, 3-month opportunity to work for a growing and diverse council in the Eastern Suburbs
- **Eastern suburbs | Monday to Friday, 3-5 hours per day**:

- **Local Government experience is advantageous**:

- **Previous experience in a high-volume call centre is essential**

You will join an encouraging and inclusive team located in the eastern suburbs that places emphasis on delivering high-quality customer service experiences to members of the community. They are a well reputable and supportive team that work together towards a progressive change in the lives of community members. You will contribute your skills to ensure all inquiries that come through the call centre are resolved in a timely manner, with due diligence. You will work 22-25 hours per week.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Providing accurate information to community members to resolve their inquiries
- Learning the council’s operations and being aware of any applied changes
- Delivering high quality customer service to a high-volume Call Centre while contributing to KPI’s, individually and as a team
- Maintaining a great image of the Council in all your communications with members of the community
- Ensuring all actions comply with all regulatory requirements
- Liaise with and transfer to relevant departments when required

**To be successful you will have**:

- Previous experience a high-volume call centre
- Demonstrated experience using customer management or other systems
- Local government experience is ideal.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Positive and proactive attitude towards work
- Dispute handling and problem-solving skills
