**Your new company**
This reputable family owned organisation has been operating all across Australia for over 50 years. On the back of a number of successful years, they are looking to expand their growing credit team. They are looking for an experienced credit controller to welcome into their team of 7.
**Your new role**
This role is responsible for managing a specified debtor portfolio, minimising exposure to credit risk and reducing debt, whilst maintaining a strong customer focus. You will act as a conduit between our customers and our business and work closely with customer service and sales to achieve and meet set service levels.
Some of your duties will include:
- Maintain Aged Trail Balance (ATB)
- Complete Credit Releases according to deadlines
- Follow credit control procedures in particular in the collection of bad or overdue debts.
- Assist in collection of overdue debt and handle special payment plans/deviations from standard
- terms of payment
- Collection and maintenance of specific high profile/high risk debtors
- Amongst other duties
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to multi-task and work around deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player
