**About the facility**
- Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.
- The Pharmacy Department is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy education and in the medical course at Deakin University. Pharmacy practice research is a focus with local and collaborative projects with universities, particularly Monash University and other healthcare facilities. Staff are supported for continuing education and postgraduate studies. The SHPA residency program is offered.
**About the role**
- Undertake and develop your skill set as a pharmacy technician in a range of hospital pharmacy settings at SJOG.
- Responsibilities include:
- In this role you will be required to fill a temporary part-time position at Barwon Health's Pharmacy Department, based at St John of God Hospital but may be required to work across all 4 campuses of Barwon Health.
- You will be supporting St John of God Pharmacy ward pharmacists in providing quality service to both the dispensary and inpatients of the hospital.
