**The Position**

**St John of God Geelong Hospital **is a 276-bed hospital located in the CBD of Geelong, and is recognised as the leading provider of private health care in the Barwon and South-western region of Victoria. Located opposite St John of God Geelong Hospital, our surgery centre provides a range of day surgery procedures with specialist consultants.
- We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic
- **Environmental Services Assistants** to perform housekeeping duties within the unit or the wider hospital as required and ensure that the environment and surfaces are free of microbes and are therefore not a source of infection to patients and caregivers.

- Ability to time manage and prioritise workloads.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of cleaning skills.
- Basic knowledge of chemical usage.
- Customer focused practices.
- Knowledge in the following areas:

- Manual handling
- Occupational Safety and Health practices
- Infection Control and Housekeeping Protocols
- Usage of cleaning equipment
- Flexibility to work extra shifts or different shifts if required.
