**Data Protection Manager**

**VGW is a fast-growing technology company and creator of market-leading online social games. With offices across Australia, USA, Canada, Malta and the Philippines we are on a mission to** be the biggest gaming company in the world**

**Due to major growth we are expanding our **Privacy **team in **Perth** **and currently looking for a** **Data Protection Manager **to join the team.**

In this role, you will lead VGW's privacy function by advising on data privacy matters and administering the global privacy program.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Develop and enhance our existing privacy programs, policies, and procedures, and embeds privacy and data ethics into VGW's culture
- Maintains knowledge of applicable global privacy laws and information privacy technologies
- Take a lead role in assessing new legislation or other regulatory changes and making recommendations as necessary
- Engage with others in dealing with data protection authorities and policymakers, both in responding to inquiries from global regulators and in partnering with other teams

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Demonstrated experience in handling complex global privacy and data protection issues
- Experience in building strong partnerships and educating about complex regulatory schemes across various business functions
- Ability to navigate ambiguous situations, work well under pressure with diligence, with mínimal supervision, and provide practical, real-world advice to the business
