**About the role**

As a **casual Support Worker** at Transitional Therapy, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our elderly and disabled clients in the Newcastle, NSW 2300 area. This is an important role that will allow you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

**What you'll be doing**
- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Providing social and emotional support to clients, engaging them in activities and outings to promote their wellbeing
- Advocating for client needs and collaborating with allied health professionals to ensure holistic care
- Maintaining accurate client records and documentation in line with organisational policies
- Adhering to all relevant workplace health and safety guidelines

**What we're looking for**
- A genuine passion for working with the elderly and disabled, and a commitment to providing exceptional care
- Relevant experience in the community services or aged care sector, or a willingness to learn
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature
- A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred)
- First Aid certification (desirable)
- Singers-Songwriters, music lovers included.
