**Who We’re Looking For**:
- Qualified Support Workers: Holding a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in high-intensity support environments (5+ years preferred).
- Essential Skills:
- Expert in managing complex behaviours with empathy and clear boundaries.
- Strong understanding of mental health issues and crisis management.
- Confidence, maturity, and mental resilience.
- Attention to detail and patience.
- Ability to work 24/7 shifts, including overnight and sleepovers.

**What You’ll Do**:
- Provide personalised, high-quality care to this wonderful lady with complex needs.
- Engage in training and reflective practice sessions to Implement behaviour support plans and assist in achieving personal goals.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure holistic and consistent care.
**Key Requirements**:
- **Certifications**:Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services, Social Science and Psychology.
- **Experience**:At least 2 years in high-intensity support roles.
- **Clearances**:NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid (including CPR), valid driver's license, and a reliable vehicle.
- **Desirable**:Experience in behaviour management (targeted and ongoing training will also be provided).
**Where We’re Hiring**:
- **Location**:Newcastle, NSW, if you’re on the eastern side of Lake Macquarie you may be particularly interested due to the location of this SDA home.
- **Suburbs of Interest within 30km of SIL**: Belmont, Redhead, Dudley, Whitebridge, Charlestown, Warners Bay, Swansea, Caves Beach, Valentine, Eleebana, Toronto, Rathmines, Catherine Hill Bay, Mannering Park, and Morisset.
